Ingredients
Instructions
-
In a medium bowl stir together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
-
In a large mixing bowl or stand mixer, beat butter for about a minute; cream together with granulated and brown sugar until fluffy. Next add the egg, milk, and vanilla and mix on medium speed until combined, scraping the bowl.
-
With the mixer on medium speed (using a paddle attachment on a stand mixer) beat in the flour mixture 1/4 cup at a time until fully combined. The dough should be softer than chocolate chip and very smooth.
-
Using a spatula fold in the oats, cranberries, and morsels until evenly distributed.
-
Cover and chill dough for at least 2 hours, perhaps overnight.
-
Preheat oven to 375°.
-
Place 1 cup granulated sugar in a shallow dish. Forming 1-2" balls, roll cookie dough between the hands and then liberally coat in sugar. Place on a cookie sheet 3" apart center to center, and bake for 10-12 minutes or until evenly browned and slightly dark around the edges. Transfer immediately to a cooling rack.
